Gienapp Design Associates designed this new luxury home in a historic area of Danvers, Massachusetts. Through research prior to contacting our office, the client had a concept plan they wished to use as a base for their new home. Our office customed the design of the house to meet their specfic needs, and tailored the house to their family and lifestyle.
Based on a Classic American farmhouse, the design includes small roof overhangs and simple treatment of the cornice windows which are symmetrically placed in bays. The design includes a large wrap around farmer’s porch.
The design required approval of the local historical commission. Our office provide presentation drawingsm and assisted the client with the historical board submission and presentation.
Currently under construction, the house is expected to be finished in the winter of 2004.
